Gennady Melnikov

First Deputy Director General

Born in the Galki village, Krupsky District, Minsk Region in 1959. Graduated from the Minsk Radio Engineering Institute in 1981, the Academy of Management under the President of the Republic of Belarus in 2005.

Started the career in 1981 as an engineer at the Minsk Telegraph and Telephone Exchange. An year later, became a lead engineer of the electric communications service at Minskobltelecom, where, having walked his way, took the position of the head of the capital projects department in 1997. In 1999-2001 worked as the Deputy Director General for Construction Issues at Beltelecom. In 2001-2002 worked as the head of the development division of the telecommunications development and regulation department in the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus. In 2002, returned to Beltelecom as the Deputy General Director for Network Operations. Headed the JV LLC Mobile Digital Communications in 2005–2006. Held the position of First Deputy Director General of RUE Beltelecom in 2011–2016. In the period from 2016 to 2019 worked as the Deputy Director General of OJSC Belsvyazstroy. Since 2019 works as the Deputy Director General for Construction Issues of RUE Beltelecom, since 2020 works as the First Deputy Director General of RUE Beltelecom.

Coordinates work on interaction with public authorities. Organizes the design, construction, reconstruction of telecommunication facilities, timely commissioning of production facilities and social facilities. Provides work on state property management, operational and transport support, compliance with procurement procedures. Provides business and administrative services for the enterprise. Organizes work on the consideration of applications from citizens and legal entities related to the provision of telecommunication services. Manages the ideological activities of the enterprise.
