The international activity of RUE Beltelecom is based on the principles of partnership and mutually beneficial cooperation with all international organizations, telecommunication operators and companies, taking into account the national interests of the Republic of Belarus.
The key strategy of Beltelecom in its international activity is to ensure a unified foreign economic policy, implement a set of actions aimed to organize and develop international activity of the enterprise, mutually beneficial cooperation with foreign countries, as well as to create favorable conditions for implementation of new telecommunication technologies and services, and promote a positive image of the enterprise.
Key areas of international cooperation:
- cooperation with international telecommunication organizations;
- participation in international telecommunication projects;
- bilateral cooperation with foreign operators and companies providing telecommunication services, as well as manufacturers of telecommunication equipment.
Beltelecom actively cooperates with international organizations such as the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communications (RCC), the European Network Planning Meeting (ENPM), the European Telecommunications Satellite Organization Eutelsat, etc.
Beltelecom participated in the international projects TEL/TET, TAE and ITUR. In framework of implementation of the international projects TEL and TAE, RUE Beltelecom built backbone fiber-optic communication lines in the following network segments: Minsk - Vitebsk - Verkhnedvinsk - the state border of Latvia; Minsk - Oshmyany - the state border of Lithuania; Minsk - Slonim - Brest - the state border of Poland; Minsk - Gomel - the state border of Ukraine, and RUE Beltelecom also has a fiber optic connection with neighboring states (Lithuania, Latvia, Poland and Ukraine).
Attaching great importance to the improvement and development of the communication industry, meeting the needs for telecommunication services, introducing the advanced technologies, combining intellectual and manufacturing resources, exchanging experience and information, RUE Beltelecom is actively bilaterally cooperating with leading foreign telecommunication operators and companies on a contractual basis.
RUE Beltelecom cooperates with foreign telecommunication operators on the provision of various telecommunication services. To date, bilateral relations have been established with more than 60 international operators.
