On December 11, Aleksandr Lukashenko, the President of the Republic of Belarus, signed Decree No. 428, amending Decree No. 92 of March 12, 2020, “On stimulating the use of electric vehicles.”
Beltelecom has been designated the second operator for the construction and maintenance of charging infrastructure for electric vehicles. This is a strategically important step both for the company and for promoting eco-friendly transport in our country.
Aleksei Ivashkin, General Director of RUE Beltelecom:
– We have received the permission to develop a network of slow charging stations with a capacity of up to 44 kW. We will now be able to cover even more locations, especially in residential areas and long-term parking areas. This will make the infrastructure more accessible and convenient for our citizens, stimulating further growth in the number of electric vehicles on the roads.
Beltelecom has been successfully developing this area since 2022. The first Evika! electric charging station was installed three years ago in Pinsk. Today, the network includes more than 250 charging stations across the country. “We have the necessary experience and expertise to expand the geographic reach and scale of the project,” - emphasized General Director.
For the convenience of users, the website evika.by and the web application Evika! are available.
Developing a network of charging stations is not only a response to growing demand but also an investment in our future!
