The mobile application “My city (Belarus)” is available for the citizens of Zhlobin: this city has become the 5th in Gomel region and the 30th in the country!
On October, 17 population of the beautiful city of metallurgists got the useful digital resource, that allow to save time and solve comfortably many day-to-day tasks. Now local residents can quickly find out important city news, get acquainted with a list of events, and also use different online-services.
“My city” is a convenient tool of interaction with city infrastructure, where the most necessary information is collected. Using the application it is possible to make an appointment with the executive committee and other institutions, book a table in a cafe or a room in a hotel, choose sports sections for children, call an emergency team; schedule a visit to a beauty salon or service station. At the same time, the application is a real guide to sights, museums and parks. All this makes belarusian cities even more attractive to tourists.
In just two and a half years the project expanded its coverage to 30 cities, which indicates its high population. This result has been achieved thanks to the efforts of the Ministry of Communications and Informatization and the company Beltelecom, that develop this initiative together in the context of the State program “Digital Development of Belarus”.
The idea of digital communication has received a large positive feedback: more than 65 thousand downloads, 670 thousand service views and the most important – 63 thousand times users opened the pages of organizations and made online-orders. The most active are the citizens of Polotsk, Nesvizh, Zhodino, Braslav and Glubokoye.
The functionality of the platform is really wide and constantly updating. For example, now organizations, represented in the application, can add information about their vacancies.
Thus, “My city” has become a convenient mobile assistant, providing all services of city and maximum information about them in one click. Successful development of the project “My city” is one more example of how digital technologies can make our daily life more comfortable and convenient.
