Mobile application “My City (Belarus)” is now working in Orsha!

Another city has digitized the most popular services for its residents! On the eve of the New Year holidays, the Ministry of Communications and Informatization, together with the RUE Beltelecom and the Orsha District Executive Committee, presented the mobile application “My City (Belarus)” in Orsha, making a real gift to all citizens.

A city with a thousand-year history today is confidently moving along the digital path. Orsha and Orsha District are the centers of economic growth. It has built a modern infrastructure for digital transformation.

Dmitry LOPATIN, Deputy Chairman of the Orsha District Executive Committee:

– Digital development is a common systemic task involving all regional structures. Today, within the framework of the Orsha District Development Program for the period till 2023, the Smart City subprogram is being implemented. In 2019, a concept for the digital transformation of the region and a roadmap for its implementation were created. My City platform is a big and important step in the region digitalization.

“My City” is a practical tool for citizens' interaction with the urban ecosystem, aimed at improving comfort and quality of life.

Alexander BLIZNYAKOV, Head of Orsha areal telecom centre, Vitebsk Branch of RUE Beltelecom:

The application launch is preceded by a lot of work to fill it. Services provided by organizations and enterprises need to be “digitized” - placed in the appropriate way on the platform. More than 250 participants are already registered in the application, for whom My City is also an additional advertising channel.

The application contains government organizations, educational and health care institutions, objects of trade, culture and leisure. It contains structured information by type of activity and consists of a set of standard modules: online registration, online delivery, online service operator's office.

City events, important news, promotions, discounts, polls - the most necessary information is placed here. Citizens can make an appointment with a doctor, find out the opening hours of shops and sports facilities, call an emergency team, book a hotel room or a table in a cafe, schedule a visit to a beauty salon or service station. All services are available on a smartphone literally in one click. You just need to download the application.

Orsha became the fourth city where the application was launched. Earlier, a mobile digital assistant appeared in Polotsk, Glubokoye and Pinsk.

The app can be downloaded for Android and iOS.

Various business entities of Orsha and Orsha district can additionally take part in content development of the platform. To participate, you must leave an application on the website: moygorod.by or contact the service center of RUE Beltelecom in Orsha.
