On November, 1 the Mozyr city appeared in the mobile application “My city (Belarus)”. It became sixth in the Gomel region and 32nd in the country. The Gomel region settlements have been actively involved in the digital process: Dobrush, Narovlya, Zhlobin, Rechitsa and Kalinkovichi have already placed their services on the mobile platform.
The development is designed to enhance the comfort and quality of citizen life. The application accumulates diverse information about all services and enterprises, and its own unique version is created for each city. Thanks to this resource, tourists and local residents can orient in the settlement well, order services online and get feedback.
“My city” is a convenient tool of interaction with city infrastructure, where the most necessary information is collected – from events and news to vacancies and sales.
An important feature is an interactive cooperation with all participants represented on the platform. Using the application you can:
- make an appointment with the executive committee and other institutions;
- book a table in a cafe or a room in a hotel;
- call an emergency team, schedule a visit to a beauty salon, enroll your child in sports section;
- find out the opening hours of shops and cafes and much more.
“My city” is also a real guide to local sights, museums, parks and other interesting locations.
The comprehensive project to digitize the urban environment was developed by the Ministry of Communications and Informatization together with the company Beltelecom. The geography of the online service is planned to be expanded. Today it represents more than 45 areas of activity in 32 cities of Belarus, and platforms for another three dozen cities are in development. By the end of the year the application “My city” will appear in the u.s. Oktyabrsky in the Gomel region.
